Lanna Hope Belue
Lanna Hope Belue participated in Lawson Band for ten years as a homeschool student before graduating and attending Converse, where she earned her BM in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Music Education here.
Throughout her musical studies, Lanna has worked with a number of instructors including George Wenger, Karen Hill, and Beverly Mitchell. As a high school student, she was heavily involved with All-State Band, played clarinet with college wind ensembles, and even performed at Carnegie Hall. She has served as a church musician since age eleven and currently serves at Love Springs Baptist Church. Lanna also teaches band at Oakbrook Preparatory School.
In addition to her musical career, Lanna has owned and operated her own beef cattle farm, Lanna Hope Farms, LLC, since age. She is also a licensed cosmetologist.
